I find sometimes now when I walk
I gimp
When I talk or say something
I stutter or misspeak
When I see, I see in different hues
My view of things are unlike yours
But when I care or sense you near me
The depth of caring is endless
And my sense of love
Is boundless
I hear you, mi amigo. I see life through blurred eyes now, very surreal - my friend, after observing me walking through the world - "is that a rock? A tree?" quips that being old looks somewhat like an acid trip. Hee hee. And oh the search for words......but yes, when it comes to love and caring - boundless. I love this poem.
