Seasons change
Summer to autumn Autumn to winter
Winter to spring
They transition at a
timely pace with colors and hues
white cold but follows
with a warm embrace
You see me today
you forget me tomorrowlong lost in the shadows
of yesterdays and you
leave without a trace
Classics in writ speak
of lovers in lovewhen neither wars
or distance could
separate their hearts
Days would go by
weeks then years
when together again
tiff time had never
sent them apart
The human soul seems
to have changed yet unlike what beauty
change of season renders
the human heart beats
but no longer remembers
A beautiful write, my friend. "the human heart beats but no longer remembers". So poignant.
